If you idiots would pick up a history book
Or watch a documentary about WW2

You’d know those two despots
Had no love for each other, and Stalin
Took half of Berlin and did Germany in

Your ignorance is exactly what China wants
Your fear, your bigotry, your conspiracy haunts
They want America dumb and divided and angry

They churn out bots to perpetuate Trump’s big lie
China wants our democracy to die, instead

And innocent people who eat refried beans
They want the GOP to sell you the idea
That Jeff Bezos, an uber billionaire, will lose his means

And end up broke and in defeat, if he pays a few dollars more.
China wants the GOP, to sell you varnished history
Where slavery never happened, and blacks never die by cop

These blatant lies have to stop. The earth is a globe
It isn’t flat. We need vaccines and that’s a fact
The election was fair, the machines were not hacked

Liberals don’t want to end the private sector
We would love it if the GOP ended it’s rancor
But all they have in congress is childish decor

Lead by a cult leader who wants to be more
Of the strongmen that Stalin and Hitler were
Authoritarians down to their insidious core

I don’t want to hear false accusations of dictatorships
Aimed at the left, when you took away
Female body autonomy. Bigotry falls from your lips

Rolling off your tongue you want gay marriage to be done
Away with. You want a theocracy in our public schools
Bible study dictates all the rules

You want to replace science with mythology
Replace it with theocratic ideology
Replace astronomy with astrology

Don’t tell me you want small government
When you want to stick your nose
In a woman’s crotch, let the politicians/judges watch

You want freedom to be the final call

I am so fucking sick of being accused of loving Marx or Stalin or Hitler. I hate all of them. Liberals can be for and are for the private sector. We simply don’t like the current level of abuse, and monopolies. The government isn’t based on “of the billionaires, for the billionaires, only for the billionaires.”

There is more than one class. I am for the freedom to eat a pizza one day, or a burger the next. I am for the ability to watch things like South Park or Family Guy. But I am also for responsible media that values science and evidence based history, not varnished crap that ignores ugly parts of the past.

I don’t want a dishwasher to make the same as a neurosurgeon. But for someone to argue that if taxes go up on Jeff Bezos or his class, the entire economy will collapse. That is the fear they sell, that is not the reality of tax history since America started the graduated tax code after WW2.

I am an FDR liberal. I see taxes not as tyranny, but an investment. I see deregulating when needed, like when old technology gets replaced with new technology. But I also believe in guard rails that will prevent things like train derailments which have been caused by too much deregulation. I think regulations should exist to prevent coal ash poisoning our rivers, chemical spills, oil spills, industrial accidents in general.

The GOP blames Biden for the bridge collapse, but the truth is it is because of deregulation that that ship was not inspected as well as it could have been under better laws and better regulation.

I am also sick of the right selling the idea that we have the best health care system. We do, if you are rich enough. The GOP policy is “die quickly”.

And for decades the GOP has gone after Medicare and Social Security, and I wouldn’t trust them one bit when they claim they won’t touch it. How do you think they will fund billionaire tax breaks?

And again, all of this rancor and hate coming from the right, all these false accusations of Liberals wanting to become dictators, is exactly what China wants. China wants to prove once and for all that political pluralism doesn’t work. And the GOP is giving them exactly what they want.
