Ring, Ring
Kelly got a worm
Now she has
A satellite dish
It constantly
Makes her squirm
Scratch, scratch
Trying to get to
The bald patch
On her furry back
She pitters around
Pouting confused
It won’t cut her
Any slack
Nipper’s nose
I suppose
In Victrola’s cone
Until Kelly heals
She doesn’t want to be
Ever left alone.

Kelly got ringworm so she is wearing the cone of shame until it heals.

Oh, poor Kelly. That’s a shame. Do you give Kelly and Anneplath worming tablets/liquid regularly? I have to give them to Peanut every three months, and she’s never had worms. I do usually use the drops you put behind their head/neck, as getting a tablet down Peanut is like pulling a tooth on a live crocodile! There is no way she’d let me get a pill down her without me coming out of it injured ad probably scratched to pieces! Hope you are well, Brian.
Sorry I haven’t been around much to read other people’s blogs (not just yours). I’ve been incredibly busy and preoccupied with trying to save the planet. I’m not hinting, but if you want to know more, I’ve written a lot about it over the last week or so. It will explain my absence. Take care of you and your cats.

Vet prescribed meds for Kelly, she is doing fine, just annoyed by the cone. Anneplath is fine he doesn’t need any meds. Kelly has a topical med and a injectable oral liquid med. It is actually very easy to apply. I just wrap her up in a blanket before putting the med in her mouth.
