As two characters go
Don’t be fooled
They are in it together

One the “God” father
Who offers you help
The other an enforcer

You the bar owner
The wiseguy, made man
That thing of theirs

Walks in
Looks around
And then

Says to you
“It would be such a shame
If your business ended up in flames”

It is the same
Rigged system
From the first page

Adam and Eve
Had no say
In the rigged bet

God and Lucifer made
And it continues
To the last page

Emotional blackmail
Obey me or burn
I bow not to tyrants

From reason I learn
They need each other
Your fear both earn

God and Satan
Jesus and devil
Partners in crime

To keep you in line.
It is not moral
It’s scaring the blind.
