This is terrible and so shocking, Brian. It would have been so avoidable had the parents not had guns in the house, let alone not locked up somewhere safe out of the children’s reach. What tragic and heartbreaking news. I don’t suppose the other children will ever get over what they witnessed. How many more children (and adults) have to die because their country allows guns and doing nothing about making them illegal.

Our founders fucked up when they wrote the 2nd Amendment because they didn’t know how stupid society would get in the future, and not understand the words “Well regulated militia”, which in todays terms is our National Guard. They also had no clue how advanced firearms would become either. Guns should be a privilege not a right, and you should prove you are sane and capable and there should be a waiting period of a week and a limit of 3 guns.
