Redorable, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on FB/META and @brianrrs37 on Twitter)
Got a pidder
Of a kitty
You cant stop
Thinking about
So cute it makes you shout
HOW ADORABLE!
Then you have to
Go to work
And leave the poor puddy
At home, button cute
Around it roams
Perched on the windowsill
Looking at birds
At the feeder
Paws press on the pane
It won’t get to neither
Darting eyes follow
Playful little hunter
And at your job you toil
Waiting to get home to spoil
That little furball will coil
Up and in your lap
There to take a nap
You look down at it
You cant resist a pet
You never stop
Thinking cat nip
Redorable is all there is.
(end)
I made up another word. Instead of “Adorable” “Redorable” is the word you use when you cant stop thinking about how cute your kitten or cat is.

“Redorable” is exactly. how I feel about my cat.

Love this, Brian. It sums up exactly how I feel about my young cat, Peanut. I think she’s adorable. I like your new take on that word – redorable – it makes a lot of sense. Peanut often sits on the window sill looking at the birds and squirrels in the garden that she can’t get to. Having said that, she turns into a wily hunter in the spring and is known to catch baby birds or mice, which breaks my heart. I sometimes manage to rescue them from her jaws or paws, and if I’m lucky (or they are), they live to tell another tale (or tail!). Are you writing this from your experience of having a cat or kitten?

Awe, well my puddies are going to be strictly indoors. My house is big anyway so. I like that name “Peanut”.
