Gripping words
Slammed into me
Accosted me
I had no choice
The dissonance too strong
I had to admit I was wrong
But consider it not weakness
It really means you are strong
It is the best cure
For the haze of history
To listen to the experts
Factually
Break the bonds
Of fantasy

If one can accept that Osiris or Apollo or Poseidon are not real, then it should not be hard to understand that Jesus and Allah and Yahweh and Buddha and Vishnu are not either.

I do not say this to be a bully or to be mean, but to get people to consider that the dead religions of the past, we now call mythology were made up by the same human species that still has the claims of antiquity as truly held as fact today. I’ve said it for decades now, “If our species never questioned social norms our species never would have left the caves.”
