Vampires, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on FB/META and @brianrrs37 on Twitter)
Shrieking pierces
The shrouds of clouds
The midnight moon
Hides behind
The leafless trees
Reach out to grab
Puts your passion
On a slab
Four pinholes
In your neck
He’s out for blood
Your life is done.

This is a very visual poem, Brian. Scary thoughts, too. Have a great rest of your day.

I am not superstitious in the slightest, but back when I was a kid movies like “The Exorcist” and “Poltergeist” like “Jaws” gave me nightmares.
