He blinked the universe into existence
He made Adam a mate in an instant
But to write his book, seems inconsistent

To take over a thousand years
Over 40 authors with books left out
Used flawed humans to write his words down

I know I am being quite the contrarian
When I point out those popular historians
Apologists like to claim, that did not live at the same

Time the bible claims the Jesus character existed
This stuck in my craw, and has long since persisted
“Metaphor” enlisted, “out of context” they cited

When convenient, to their cause, it’s over conflated
No logic related, no consistency found, absurdity abounds
Science ignored, reason gored, by this God of lore

Jealous and vindictive, hardly constructive
Tells you how to beat your slave, tells you
Rape is ok, female virgins are prizes of war

Infanticide, genocide, the blood will pour
And at the end of the day, you have no say
Burn in hell, or languish, mindless, in heaven’s bore.

What will is to be had, if the plan is set
What use is prayer if the plot is writ
I see no validity in this made up script
