You’re Fired, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on FB/META and @Brianrrs37 on Twitter/X)
Of this argument I am really tired
That God judged your time expired
Genocide by drowning he required
From one of his fans who just argued
That we were “employees” God could fire
Only a sick person would desire, that to be true
Tell me what a mere child could do
At such a tender age, to swallow salt water
In their lungs, suffocate from God’s jealous rage
This would have to be the case
If that myth were true, all but 8 on the ark
Drowned by the millions in the gloom
Certainly there had to be
On the other side of the globe
Even innocent adults
Who never heard of this God
To blame the victim for their innocence
Makes you a monster fraud
The boss you have in real work
The boss you have in real life
They cannot shoot you in the head
They cannot stab you with a knife
If you quit and want leave
You are entitled to keep your life
“Employee” was the analogy
This guy had tried to use
To justify that vile story
Of genocide and abuse.
(end)
I seriously just had an idiot on Facebook equate human beings like “employees” that God could fire. No asshole, in real life you don’t get to murder someone for stealing supplies, or cussing the boss out or merely quitting and going to another job.
And according to that book, only 8 people were on the ark. And back when that myth was supposed to have happened, there would have been in reality 14million to 20million humans globally. Millions of those would have had to be kids, toddlers, pregnant women. And even innocent adults who simply had never heard of this Abrahamic God.
