Flying Through Turbulence

Flying Through Turbulence, By Brian37, (Brian James Rational Poet on FB/META and @Brianrrs37 on Twitter/X)

I have felt the nasty breath
Of death on the back of my neck
Calling for a blade or pill or a gun

The day could have been sunny
People smiling at a party, having fun
I’d still feel like I was the only one

Fortunately the rain torrent never came
The reaper has failed to earn his fame.
