Blue Cat, By Brian37 (AKA Brian James Rational Poet on FB/META and @Brianrrs37 on Twitter/X)
I heard that you were missing me
I heard that you were worried
You panicked and you hurried
You called the 9:30 Club
At the Woodrow Wilson Bridge
Two days had passed by since
You saw nothing on my x
You thought the worst was next
You were worried and perplexed
You couldn’t have thought I was hexed
Atheists don’t have premonitions
But you did have some suspicions
The book worm called me on my cell
You thought maybe I was burning in hell
You wondered if I was well
Maybe of rigor or rotten smell
You forgot about my other account
Your fear did needlessly mount
I answered her all at last
No Cat, I certainly had not passed
Rumors of my death
Premature my last breath
You panicked needlessly
I am as alive as I can be
(end)
So I have a friend named Cat who didn’t see any “Tweets” from me in a few days and panicked, so she got our mutual friend from the D.C area, our friend, who is a voracious reader, to call me on my cell, and they got a hold of me on a three way call. She was relieved that I was ok but wondered why I hadn’t posted in a while, and I asked her if she looked at my other account, and she laughed and admitted she forgot about my other account.
Point is it is nice to know you have friends that care. I mean that seriously. Thank you Cat for caring.
