Outside that commonality
We skeptics are a variety
Of politics, status and education

We come from every nation
We come in every color
We’ve left every religion
We are your brother, your sister, your mother

We will be that bindweed
Our trumpets sound indeed
Thorns to to get you to see
Of a God you do not need.
